Posting a Rescued or Re-home dog as available.

To post a rescue I need as much information as possible.   Please answer what you can for each dog.   I will not sponsor or courtesy post a dog that is aggressive to humans.   If your dog is dog or cat aggressive or other animal aggressive you must let me know in advance of posting the dog.

I will take any pictures you have but this is my wish list:
1 good close up head shot
2 more cute shots
It is nice to have a picture standing square at an angle
(Pictures taken at ground level look much better than standing looking down on the dog.
You need 2 people, one to handle the dog and one to kneel down and take pics)   The better the photos the more looks your dog will get.   The first thing people see when they are checking rescue sites is the picture.     Indoor cute photos do well because people like to think these are pets and not back yard dogs.  Remember pictures speak a thousand words and video is even better!  If you can provide video it is super helpful but not required.

Please provide as much of the information below as you can and I will have them listed within 12 hours.

If known, What is the name of the breeder and/or their complete registered names? (I do not post the breeder’s name anywhere but often breeders are willing to help in some ways.)

Do you have a dead line that your dog must be placed by?

Does the dog come with anything?  Ie crate, bed, fancy collar or toys, spay or neuter coupon etc….

Write a paragraph about the dog, I will clean it up and possibly change the words a bit so don’t worry just get me the facts.    Please tell dog’s virtues here.   This is not a time to be negative in any way.

Please describe special needs medical or otherwise:   Now is the time to be honest and discuss behavior issues and medical needs.
***Please note that Local Rescue groups pull and train dogs so that many of the dogs up for adoption know basic obedience commands and how to walk nicely on the leash and are crate trained.   You will be competing with these dogs for homes.   A trained and well mannered dog has a better chance of being adopted.   I can send a lot of easy and quick step by step instructions to train your dog but you need to put the time and effort into it.   You will also need to participate in marketing your dog.   A vest that says ADOPT ME can be helpful.   Take your dog on walks in parks with the vest on.   Put up lots of flyers at local pet stores and vets.    I will create a Petfinder listing for your dog and get it to you.  Petfinder is a huge resource for people searching for dogs.   It will also help if you send this newly created PetFinder link for your dog around to all your friends and family and Facebook friends.  Send reminders often.   PetFinder also sends out many ideas and suggestions on how to market and rehome your dog, I will forward these to you as they come.    Posting your dog in Petfinder is only part of the plan you need to be the other part.   I will also send you the leads and if necessary I can help you qualify the homes.   Sending new photos or videos from time to time helps keep your listing active.  I will update the information and photos as you request.
